Students Volunteer in El Salvador

Students traveled to El Salvador this summer, volunteering with Building Futures Project. They worked in the communities of Las Delicias and Ciudad Arce where they continued construction on a retaining wall, painted a community center, served at a lunch program, and made home visits to understand daily life in El Salvador. When they weren't volunteering, students had a chance to visit historical sites in San Salvador, gaining insight into the country's rich history and social context.
