Overview

The Science Department offers a wide variety of courses and enrichment opportunities that ignite curiosity and foster discovery. Students don’t just learn about the natural world, they actively investigate it through hands-on laboratory experiences, immersive fieldwork, and engaging discussions of today’s most pressing scientific topics. Students use the latest technology, from advanced lab equipment and digital data collection tools to professional level software and interactive simulations, ensuring they graduate fluent in the tools driving modern science. While only 3 science credits are required, motivated students can pursue up to 6 credits, building a strong foundation that prepares them to excel in college and beyond.
