Special Programs

A Specialized Approach

At Mount Saint Joseph, we view academic excellence as an achievable goal for all our students, as each one learns and grows according to individual talents. We believe that the total education of each student necessitates an active collaboration with parents.

In order to provide each student with a curriculum that fits their individual needs, MSJ is proud to offer the Brother James M. Kelly, C.F. X. Scholars Program; the Scholastic Certificate Program; the DePaul Program for students with learning differences; and the Academic Support Program, which offers instructional strategies for students who have demonstrated some academic difficulties. We also offer freshman and junior seminars, computer and writing labs, and retreats.

Kelly Scholars

The Brother James M. Kelly, C.F.X. Scholars Program challenges students in the advanced study of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, social sciences, and the arts.

The DePaul Program is designed for college-bound students with specifically diagnosed mild learning/language-based differences such as dyslexia.

Students who apply for the Scholastic Certificate Program can earn a distinction on their transcript in STEM, business, or arts and humanities.
