Math

Overview

The Math Department offers a multi-level program designed with the student in mind, seeking both to appropriately match instruction with students’ abilities and to provide opportunities for advancement. Freshmen take Algebra I unless placement tests and prior coursework support beginning with Geometry or Algebra II. For those who qualify, accelerated hybrid courses in Geometry/Algebra II or Algebra II/Trigonometry permit faster advancement to upper level courses. We have the highest of expectations for our students, while providing the support needed to help them attain those expectations by building enduring personal relationships.
