Summer Reading

Class of 2030

Incoming freshmen need to read ONE BOOK this summer. First, you will browse the Incoming Freshman Summer Reading List and sign up to read a book. The book you choose will be used as part of a group discussion facilitated by an MSJ faculty member ON AUGUST 26 DURING FRESHMAN ORIENTATION and it will also be used for an English assignment. Visit the English Department Summer Reading document and use your schedule to determine your assignment. Schedules will be shared at the Class of 2030 Parent Orientation on Wednesday, June 10, at 6:30 p.m. Those not in attendance will be mailed all necessary information.

Classes of 2027-2029

Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors need to read ONE BOOK this summer.

The book assigned to sophomores, juniors, and seniors depends on the English class you are taking next year. Visit the English Department Summer Reading document and use your schedule to determine your book and assignment. Schedules will be shared in early June.
