Inclement Weather Policy
School Delays and Closings
Any changes in the operation of the school due to inclement weather will be sent via text and email alerts, as well as a listing mentioning Mount Saint Joseph by name on WBAL media. Information will also be posted on the Mount Saint Joseph website and social media accounts.
Mount Saint Joseph takes into account the conditions of different counties when making a decision to delay or close school, but cannot know all road conditions. Parents must make their best judgement in choosing to keep their son home or sending him to school without causing any unnecessary risk to his safety.

Admissions Interviews and Shadow Visits
If there is a 1- or 2-hour delay, all interviews scheduled before school opens according to the delay will be canceled. All afternoon and evening interviews will still take place. If school is to close early, all admissions appointments and school activities are canceled.
For shadow visits, if there is any delay, there will be no shadow visits for that day. If the school is closed, all admissions appointments will be canceled.
