Summer Reading

Class of 2028

Incoming freshmen need to read TWO BOOKS this summer. First, you will browse the School-Wide Summer Reading List and sign up to read a book. Please note that there are limited spots for each book. The book you choose will be used as part of a group discussion facilitated by an MSJ faculty member in September, and it will also be used for an English assignment. Visit the English Department Summer Reading document and use your schedule to determine your assignment. Schedules will be shared at the Class of 2028 Parent Orientation on Tuesday, June 11, at 7:00 p.m. Those not in attendance will be mailed all necessary information.

The second book assigned to freshmen is Life in a Jar. There are different choices for completing the assignment for this book depending on the level of the class: College Prep Global History (601) or Honors Global History (600).
