Faith & Service

Faith & Service Overview

Be the Man You Were Made to Be

Through programs and prayer experiences, Mount Saint Joseph helps boys grow into the men God intends them to be. Faith is fostered through prayer, service, retreats, and classroom study rooted in the values of the Xaverian charism: humility, trust, zeal, compassion, and simplicity.

The Campus Ministry Department develops programs at each grade level that nurture faith and spiritual growth while also fostering a love of service and an awareness of social justice issues.

As disciples of Jesus Christ, you are called to follow in His footsteps and minister God's healing touch of love, through word and deed, to all whom you meet in your journey of life.

Xaverian Values

As a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School, Mount Saint Joseph pursues the values of the Xaverian charism. In this pursuit, a community is formed by the “common, ordinary, unspectacular flow of everyday life.” In the words of the founder of the Xaverian Brothers, Theodore James Ryken, Mount Saint Joseph is a community of brothers and sisters in Christ who “mutually help, encourage, and edify one another,” forming enduring personal relationships within and among the community.

Mount Saint Joseph High School

Mount Saint Joseph is a Catholic, college preparatory school for young men sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers.
