Fire Protection Camp Participates in UMD's Fire Protection Design/Engineering Challenge
Students in our Fire Protection Engineering Camp participated in University of Maryland's Fire Protection Design/Engineering Challenge this summer. In addition to providing an introduction to Fire Protection Engineering, UMD's program introduces students to creative design and construction, and requires them to formulate and test hypotheses using different engineering methods.
Beth Czyryca moderated the camp with assistance from MSJ's STEM team (Jason Ader, Melissa Bianco, and Rebecca Obniski) in our Build Lab and using the laser cutter.
