Basketball Program Sweeps the MIAA and BCL

The basketball program had a historic season with the freshman, JV, and varsity teams all being crowned champions after sweeping the BCL and MIAA tournaments. Varsity defeated Mt. Carmel 63-60 in the MIAA tournament and beat St. Frances 66-56 in the BCL tournament. The Gaels finished their season with a 32-7 record, taking 6th place at the prestigious Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament (ACIT) after competing against some of the best teams in the country. Amani Hansberry '23 earned the John M. Plevyak MVP Award in the BCL tournament and also was named the ACIT's Most Outstanding Player.
