Head Coach Nikki Kelley began the program as a club in 2015. In the fall of 2018, the club became a team sport at MSJ, competing the Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League (MICL) as part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). The mountain biking team is competitive and inclusive. Racers compete at four different ability levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
