Two Trees Named Baltimore City Champions

Measuring 86 feet tall with a spread of 49 feet, the littleleaf linden located behind the Xaverian Brothers Generalate has been named the Baltimore City Champion Tree for its species. The black cherry tree between Plevyak Field and the lower road has also been named a Baltimore City Co-Champion. It measured 78 feet high with a spread of 59 feet. Special thanks go out to Facilities Plant Manager Dave Adams for taking such good care of our campus and nominating these trees!
