New members are welcome, as well as members of Classic Film Club, students of Italian, and students interested in this period of history in Italy.
Filmed in Rome at the end of World War II, this is an extraordinary film, not only representing a sad period in Italian history, but also presenting Rossellini's inauguration of Neorealism style and Documentary in film.
We will also add to suggestions for further reading.
