Jay Gould is a professor of Photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Jay integrates scientific topics into photographic, mixed-media projects that have won numerous national awards and been exhibited at museums and galleries around the world. During his lecture, Jay will talk about how he uses art and photography to communicate complex scientific discoveries and concepts, such as nanotechnology, asteroid redirection, and the paradoxes of time.

Mr. Joshua Utter from Jesuit Relief Services, an international Catholic organization with a mission to accompany, serve, and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons, that they may heal, learn, and determine their own future.
