SAT Prep Classes

SAT® Prep Classes

Two SAT® Prep classes are offered this summer, one for math and one for reading and writing. These classes will occur online. Also required before the first class:  purchase (via Amazon and other book retailers) of Barron’s SAT Premium Study Guide with 7 Practice Tests, 30th edition, by Green, Weiner, Stewart; ISBN 978-1-4380-1222-3.

MATH 
Schedule: July 6-24; 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.
Instructor: Mr. Lou Romeo
Content: The course emphasizes test-taking skills and strategies and provides a review of many of the key topics from arithmetic, algebra, and geometry that are included on the SAT. Students will be asked to work designated SAT practice questions outside class time.

READING AND WRITING
Schedule: July 6-24; 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.

Content:
 The class emphasizes test readiness, test-taking skills, sentence completions, reading comprehension passages, grammar and writing skills, and the essay.
